Find the Good

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 11:27

Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.

Reflection

There are sayings about what we go looking for, we usually find. It’s true, if I focus on the negative, I see more of it. If I look for problems, I’ll find those too. But when I choose to seek what’s good, my whole outlook shifts.

When I put God first and try to live the right way, things feel different. I’m more patient. More hopeful. I treat people better. And honestly, that kind of mindset comes back around. Favor isn’t always about money or big opportunities, sometimes it’s peace in my heart and healthy relationships around me.

I also know this: if I stir up drama, chase gossip, or look for trouble, it eventually circles back. I don’t want that kind of cycle. I want a life that’s steady and grounded. So I make it a point to look for the good in people. I choose words that build instead of tear down. I try to stay centered on God instead of feeding negativity.

Seeking good isn’t accidental. It’s has to be intentional. When I focus on the good, my days feel lighter, more peaceful, and more aligned with God.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for showing me a better way to live. Help me seek what is good and keep my heart focused on what honors You. Guide my choices so they lead to peace and not regret. Amen

Life Reminder

When you choose to seek good and put God first, peace and favor naturally follow.
