Verse of the Day: Isaiah 1:17
Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
Reflection
I can’t read this verse and stay comfortable. It pushes me. It reminds me that my faith isn’t just personal, it’s meant to show up in how I treat people and how I respond to injustice in a godly way.
God has given me gifts, time, influence, and opportunities and they’re not just for me. They’re meant to help someone else. I don’t want to sit on the sidelines while people around me are hurting. I want to be someone who steps in when I can.
Doing right isn’t always convenient. Speaking up isn’t always easy. But I know I’m called to care, especially for people who don’t have a voice or support. That might look different in each chapter of my life, but it always starts with a willing heart.
I may not be able to fix everything, but I can do something. I can use what I have. I can show mercy and I can choose courage. When my faith turns into action, it reflects God’s heart in a real way.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gifts and opportunities You’ve given me. Show me where I can step in and do what is right. Give me courage to stand up for others and a heart that reflects Your mercy. Amen
Life Reminder
When you use what God has given you to help others, your faith becomes action that makes a real difference.
