Serving Others With Kindness

Verse of the Day: Matthew 25:35

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.

Reflection

The way I treat people really matters. Sometimes the opportunities to help someone are simple, offering a meal, showing hospitality, or welcoming someone who feels out of place. Small acts of kindness can mean more than I realize.

When I choose to care for people around me, I’m putting my faith into action. Serving others isn’t just about doing something nice. It’s about letting God’s compassion flow through my everyday choices. I don’t have to wait for the perfect moment or a big opportunity. The chances to help someone are often right in front of me. Kindness isn’t just for the people who are easy to love. Sometimes the people who need compassion the most are the ones who feel unseen or left out. When I slow down and notice those moments, I can step in and make a difference in someone’s day.

Choosing kindness, generosity, and hospitality is one simple way I can live out my faith and show God’s love through my actions.

Prayer

Thank You, God, for the opportunities You give me to help and care for others. Help me notice the needs around me and respond with kindness and compassion. Guide my heart so I can serve people in a way that reflects Your love. Amen.

Life Reminder

Every act of kindness you show to someone is an opportunity God gives you to demonstrate His love in the world.
