Verse of the Day: Psalm 18:16
He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters.
Reflection
There are days when I feel like I’m barely staying afloat. The pressure builds, the weight feels heavy, and I wonder how much longer I can keep going. But even in those moments, I don’t quit. If all I have is a quiet whisper for help, that’s enough because I know God will rescue me.
When I feel like I’m sinking, I remind myself I’m not alone in the struggle. I’m not left to figure it out or fight my way out by myself. Help reaches into the very place where I feel stuck. I’m not being watched from a distance, I’m being met right where I am. When I can’t steady myself, I’m steadied by Him.
I choose to believe that what feels overwhelming right now won’t last forever. I lift my praises instead of staring at the waves around me. I may be in deep water, but I won’t stay there. Rescue is already moving in my direction and I will come through this.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for coming close when I feel overwhelmed. Help me remember to reach out to you instead of shutting down. Give me strength to trust that I’m being lifted through what feels too heavy. Amen
Life Reminder
When life feels overwhelming, hold on, God is coming to rescue you.
