Verse of the Day: Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Reflection
When the world feels heavy, I have to remind myself that I am an overcomer. I see the darkness. I see the hurt, the wrong choices, the unfairness. It would be easy to feel powerless in the middle of it all. But I remind myself that I’m not called to be overcome by the evil of this world. I am called to overcome evil with good.
When negativity comes at me, I have a choice. I don’t have to mirror it. I don’t have to react to it in anger or frustration. I can choose good. I can choose love. I can pause and pray instead of retaliating. It’s not always easy, but doing what’s right strengthens me from the inside out.
I lean on God daily for the strength to stand firm. And yes, I praise Him right in the middle of the battle, because praise shifts my focus. It reminds me who is truly in control and where my strength comes from.
Through Jesus, I am not defeated. I am strengthened. I am steady. I am an overcomer, and I will keep moving forward with courage.
Prayer
Lord, Thank You for giving me the strength to stand firm when things feel heavy. Help me to respond with goodness instead of frustration. Keep my heart steady and my courage strong to overcome every battle. Amen
Life Reminder
You don’t have to match the darkness, choose good, stand firm, and walk forward as the overcomer you are.
Quote: I lean on God daily for the strength to stand firm. And yes, I praise Him right in the middle of the battle.
Thank You For This!
