Verse of the Day: Psalm 143:10
Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me on level ground.
Reflection
When I was young, I used to think rules were just restrictions. Now I see them differently. God’s ways aren’t there to hold me back, they’re there to keep me from walking into things that would hurt me.
I know how easy it is for me to drift. I can justify things. I can convince myself I’m fine. But when I slow down and actually ask God to teach me His will, something changes in me. I’m not trying to run the show anymore. I’m asking to be led.
Following the Spirit means I stay teachable and that’s not always comfortable. Sometimes growth means correction. Sometimes it means admitting I was wrong. That takes humility. But I’d rather be corrected and grow than stay stuck and stubborn.
When I let God lead me, I feel steady. Not perfect. Not flawless. Just steady. Like I’m walking on solid ground instead of guessing my way through life. And that kind of guidance gives me peace I can’t create on my own.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for caring enough to guide me. Teach me to do Your will and give me a humble heart that’s willing to learn. Help me follow Your Spirit today and trust where You lead. Amen
Life Reminder
When you let God’s Spirit lead you, He keeps your steps steady and your path clear.
